| After Steve Berti retired from the U. S. Army
Special Forces, he and his wife, Rose, established Heritage Jewelers
at Westwood Shopping Center In 1974. In the early years, while Steve
attended collage during the day, Rose managed the store. Together they
worked to build a fine jewelry establishment that provides the
community with a full service, locally owned jewelry store.
Heritage Jewelers has established an outstanding reputation with the
service members of Fort Bragg and Pope Air Force Base and their
dependents. It is recognized as a leader in quality products, superior
service, military discounts, and contributions to the various fund
raising activities on and off Fort Bragg and Pope Air Force Base.
Heritage Jewelers is especially proud of its participation in the
annual U.S. Army 82nd Airborne Division's " All American Week" which
includes the presentation of a sterling silver 82nd Airborne Rings to
the NCO of the Year and the Trooper of the Year.
Steve and Rose's son, Ken, is now the president of Steroken, Inc
and is responsible for all store operations. He and his
knowledgeable staff have justly earned a reputation throughout the
civilian and military community for their courteous, professional
service. No request is too small, no request too great.
Ken and his staff are always eager to be of service. Rose still
handles most of the office work, but she can still be seen serving
customers five days a week. Steve helps out when he is needed
and is always available to his customers, military and civilian.
Heritage Jewelers offers a wide range of diamond, gold, silver,
precious and semi-precious jewelry as well as an array of unusual gift
items. The Jewelry service and repair department are second to none.
Heritage Jewelers custom design department was established in
association with Mr. Mark Miller. Mr. Miller's reputation as the
finest jewelry craftsman in the southeast is surpassed only by
his beautiful, original jewelry creations. Using
state-of-the-Arc equipment, he can create one-of-a-kind heirlooms from
scratch, a photo, or even your own drawing. His attention to
detail and an uncompromising work ethic are evident in all of his
jewelry creations.
Steve designed the "The Special Forces Ring" for which he was
granted a design patent by the United States Patent Office. It
has since become the ring of choice for Special Forces both active and
retired. A design patent was also granted for the 82nd Airborne
Ring. Because of customer demand for other types of military
jewelry, Heritage Jewelers has expanded its military jewelry line.
Each piece is carefully crafted in gold or silver by Mark Miller and
is second to none in the jewelry industry. Satisfaction is
guaranteed.
As Heritage Jewelers continues to grow and expand to meet the
ever changing demands for fine quality jewelry and service, we are
committed to providing you with the best products and service.
